Welcome
Welcome friends! I'm Rebecca, a fine artist inspired by nature living in Virginia Beach. My primary medium is watercolor. The dynamic coastal life here, along with having a garden, leads to endless inspiration for my work. I'm particularly fond of gritty textures and soft downy feathers. I love intricate and delicate details that convey the beautiful complexity of nature.
Whether you've recently seen my work at the 69th Annual Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show or are new to discovering me, I welcome you to my website.
You can find inspiration and advice for your artistic journey via my art blog or spend time observing my work via my online galleries. Prints are available in my shop and my email is always open for questions.
RECENT EXHIBITION

"You do not just wake up and become the butterfly. Growth is a process." - Rupi Kaur
Three of my paintings were recently on display for Virginia MOCA at the With Love: 1000 Flowers exhibition—a satellite gallery in partnership with NAMI Virginia. To read more about the With Love: 1000 Flowers exhibition visit my blog:
Feel free to explore my most recent prints of wondrous subjects. From land to sea, our natural world is full of a vast variety of interesting textures and vibrant colors. Of which, I enjoy translating to paper with delicate brush strokes and layers of paint.
Something to look forward to.
Animal prints have been a timeless classic for nursery design. Baby animals are not only cute, but give an element of adventure and promise of an exciting world outside of the nursery.
As an artist and business owner, I want to contribute in ways that I can to help our world flourish. I have donated work to past conservation efforts and have a future opportunity to help in the area of mental health. I will be sharing more of that experience soon.
I will continue to be open to inquiries and will seek ways to aid the conservation and betterment of our planet for future generations.
